Manufactured in 1869 with a single upper tang screw and the serial number stamped in block numerals behind the trigger. The rifle has the highly desirable Henry patent barrel address ("HENRY'S PATENT-OCT. 16. 1860/KINGS-PATENT-MARCH 29, 1866") stamped ahead of the rear sight on the top flat. The barrel is fitted with a dovetail blade front sight and a folding ladder rear sight. The bolt remains in its original .44 rimfire configuration. Sling swivels are mounted on the underside of the brass forend cap and buttstock. The buttstock has a trapdoor brass buttplate. Comes with a four piece cleaning rod.
