Manufactured in 1862. It has a German silver blade front sight, the "NEW-YORK" address, standard cylinder scene and patent markings, matching serial numbers (wedge blank and cylinder has been, renumbered), frame and back strap cut for the shoulder stock, and a buttstock with silver plated brass fittings.

Good with mostly dark gray and brown patina on the revolver, aged patina on the brass. Mild pitting, general moderate wear, and some dings and scrapes on the slightly undersized sanded grip. The stock is very good with 60% silver plating on the buttplate, smaller patches of silver on the other brass. Mild scrapes and dings, minor cracking in the comb. Mechanically fine. A solid representative example of a shoulder stock Colt Model 1860 revolver!
