The flask has the stand of arms design over crossed Paterson carbines and crossed revolvers over a banner with "COLTS*PATENT*", plunger spout and replacement rotating compartment lid on the top, and triangular suspension rings on the sides. Consignor notes indicate that it is like Rapley's "Powder Flask Book" reference number F49.

Good. The plunger measure was modified for use with a revolver. The flask has attractive aged patina, distinct designs, a little filler in the seam on the left, and mild scratches and dings.
