Description:

Built by current gunmaker Jack S. Brooks of Colorado based on the original Leman trade rifles. It has traditional blade and notch sights, "J.S. BROOKS" on top of the barrel, a "LEMAN/LANCTR PA" marked lock with only a full-cock notch, brass trigger and furniture, and a false figure finished maple stock.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as custom built by Jack S. Brooks with smooth antiqued style brown and casehardened finish on the lock and barrel, minor flash marks, mellow aged patina on the brass, a few minor marks and scratches, a couple dents on the left wide near the butt, smooth oiled finish, and attractive striped patterns. Mechanically excellent.
