Scarce Pre-World War II L.C. Smith/Hunter Arms Co. Field Grade .410 Bore Double Barrel Shotgun

Manufactured in 1936. Single bead sight on the matte rib, 3 inch chambers, ejectors, standard markings, and full chokes. Standard markings on the receiver and lock plates. Dual triggers and tang mounted thumb safety. Checkered forearm and pistol grip buttstock with a serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

ConditionFine with 95% plus original rust blue finish on the barrels, crisp markings, some light muzzle wear, and some small surface scratches. The receiver and locks have 65% original faded case colors with a mottled gray patina on the balance, some light brown spotting, and visible wear on the trigger guard and tangs. The wood is also fine with well-defined checkering, and small dings throughout.
