Description:

Manufactured from 1909 to 1920. An unusual top break design with both a barrel latch and a side thumb release on the left side of the frame and the only S&W top break to have the trigger guard integral to the frame rather than a separate piece. Right grip panel numbered to a different gun. Matching serial numbers on the butt, barrel and barrel latch.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with a cylinder drag line, minimal handling evidence, nearly all vibrant original case colors remaining and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
