Manufactured in 1980, this highly embellished Perazzi over/under shotgun features blued vent rib barrels with a single bead sight, decorative scroll and acorn gold inlay at the muzzle of the upper barrel, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, fixed improved modified "**" choke in the upper barrel and improved modified choke tube in the lower, and standard Italian proofs. The right side of the upper chamber is inscribed "In Erinnerung an/Frau Hedwig Ebel geb. Linker/Flensburg 27.12.1909/Weisbaden 6.3.1999" translated as "In memory of Mrs. Hedwig Ebel nee Linker Flensburg 27 December, 1909 - Weisbaden March 6, 1999". The action has been polished bright and features full coverage scroll engraving around deeply chiseled, relief game bird scenes of pheasants in a forest on the right, ducks on the left, and a pair of quail on the underside. Every part of each scene is sharply cut and rendered in exceptional detail. Each bird is done is bright contrasting gold inlay, and the scenes are bordered with fine gold wire inlay. The top of the break lever has a gold inlaid "PME" monogram. The engraving has no visible signature but the level of skill and workmanship is that of a Master Engraver. The trigger guard and tangs are scroll engraved to match with a single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector. The highly figured walnut stock and forearm set are as well embellished as the metal with finely carved scroll borders around relief carved oak leaf and acorn accents and detailed game bird scenes with pheasants on the right of the forearm, ducks on the left, nesting quail on the right of the buttstock, and an eagle carrying a rodent to its nested young. The stock has a swept grip with horn cap, raised cheekpiece, and Pachmayr recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech proofed at "18.4mm (.724) and measured at .725/.725 inch; minimum wall thickness .031/.030 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Exceptionally fine as masterfully embellished, carved and gold inlaid. The barrels have 97% original blue finish with some small nicks and surface scratches. The receiver engraving is very sharp and detailed with complete gold inlays, handling marks, and some traces of light spotting on the forearm latch and trigger guard. The wood has strikingly dark figure and mineral lines with sharp carved scenes and borders and some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
