Manufactured after the Korean War, with a Springfield "3 56" dated barrel, "SA" bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and relief cut operating rod. A custom modified rear sight aperture is currently installed, with an unaltered aperture stored in the buttstock. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock, with the "DoD Eagle" cartouche on the left side, a brown leather sling, and a 1970s vintage deer hunting license and tags tucked into the butt trap.
