Matching serial numbers are present on many parts, including the barrel bands, rear sight components, bolt components, floorplate, trigger guard, stock and buttplate. In addition to the matching number and "655" proofs, the stock bears a "Nazi eagle/L" stamp on the right side, indicating issue to the Luftwaffe.
