Presented here is a phenomenal piece of Americana by master engraver and artist Mr. Alvin White. It has a rifled, three-stage barrel with a brass blade front sight and floral engraving on the tang and breech section. The lock has floral scroll engraving. The side plate is a serpentine pattern. Most of the other furniture has floral scroll engraving. The wrist escutcheon is engraved with the bust of a man. The stock has nicely shaped flats and simple carving around the barrel tang. Per consignor it is signed by A.A. White on the left side of the barrel underneath the stock inletting.

Very fine with light patina forming on the otherwise bright barrel and lock, natural aged patina on the brass, crisp engraving, and generally minor wear. The stock is also very fine and has glossy finish, a tiny hairline crack at the nose of the lock, and minor handling and storage marks. Mechanically fine.
