This attractive belt knife features a 5 1/2 inch, single edge, spear point blade with a 1 1/4 inch false edge from the spine to the tip, and no maker's marks on the blade. The guard and grip fittings are silver with fine floral and scroll engraved accents, and smooth bottle shaped grip with inset fiery mother of pearl oval. The top of the guard next to the ricasso is signed "A.A. WHITE" in a small rectangle. Includes silver sheath with matching floral and scroll engraving and single belt stud. Very fine. The blade is bright overall with some light surface scratches and little evidence of use or sharpening. The grip and fittings are also very fine with crisp engraving, some light patina on the silver, and attractive grain on the grip slabs. The sheath is very fine with crisp engraving, small scratches, and light patina.
