Serialized as an early production, two digit numbered Colt 125th anniversary SAA which was subsequently highly embellished by noted Master Engraver Alvin A. White as his own personal SAA. Accompanying this revolver is an Alvin A. White handwritten letter on his own stationary confirming that this revolver by serial number was embellished by White. This revolver was White's personal SAA as his "AAW" initials are beautifully inscribed on the back strap and comes from the White collection. It is pictured in "Steel Canvas" by Wilson on page 295. The revolver features a near full coverage floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background. Cross hatching motifs are engraved on the top strap and top of back strap. White has signed his work "A.A.W." on the right side of the grip frame. The grips are checkered, feature a gold dollar coin at the top and are signed by White on the back of both panels. The barrel, frame and grip straps are silver plated, and the remaining surfaces are plated in gold. Comes with a leather bound fitted case containing a cleaning rod with brush attachment.
