A large Navajo style rug showing many characteristics of those made in the Ganado/Klagetoh regions including the typical black, grey, white, and red color scheme. It displays the often seen geometric patterns including large diamond and triangular figures through the middle of the piece. Initially made to be used mainly as clothing and blankets, rugs like this one have been an integral part of the Navajo economy since the late 18th century, and continue to be highly desirable to this day. This rug measures approximately 108 inches by 75 1/2 inches.

Excellent overall with vibrant color, a very small discreet repair, and tightly woven.
