Field & Parker were gunmakers and goldsmiths at 233 Holborn in London and became Parker Field & Sons. These pistols date to around the 1792-1794. The smoothbore barrels are swamped, have dovetailed blade front sights, gold inlaid band and vent liners, marked with "Field & Parker Holborn" in script on top, and are not proofed. The upper tangs have integral notch rear and floral engraving on tang. The locks have "Field & Parker" in script and light martial themed engraving. The triggers are plain. The iron trigger guards have floral and martial engraving. The silver wrist escutcheons are engraved with a crest that appears to be a palm tree with a saw around over a torse. The silver tendril pommel caps have star and floral engraving and satyr mask plugs. The case has a Riviere trade label, a brush, Bartram & Co. powder flask, flints, balls, worm, ball mold, and rod.
