Manufactured from 1942 to 1945 with this example featuring a professional near full coverage floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background. A cross hatching motif is engraved on the added solid rib, entwining lines are engraved on the grip straps, and the hammer and trigger are jeweled. The grip frame is signed and dated by the engraver: "DH 11/2/70." Comes with a modern S&W presentation case.

Very fine as professionally embellished, retaining 95% plus of the blue finish with some light thinning and gray on the trigger guard. The grips are excellent with fiery colors. Mechanically excellent. The case very fine showing minimal handling/storage marks.
