Manufactured in 1952/53. McGivern bead front sight and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, and ejector shroud. Comes with an extra set of S&W checkered diamond target grips and original gold box.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original high lustre blue and casehardened finishes with a very faint cylinder drag line, limited handling evidence and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with minimal wear.
