Manufactured during the Nazi occupation of Hungary. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with "eagle/173/jhv/44" on the receiver ring. The "jhv" stamp is repeated on multiple components, and matching numbers are present overall, including the bolt, bolt components, trigger guard, floorplate, barrel bands, rear sight and the stock. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock, with a brown leather sling.

Extremely fine, with 85% plus original blue finish, showing some mild edge wear, a small amount of brown spotting, and light handling marks. The stock is excellent, with a few mild dings and scratches, along with some heavier spotting on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
