Manufactured in 1944. Blade front and flat top rear sights, with the two-line, two-block markings divided by the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and a "G.H.D." inspected frame with "1/VP" and "96" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a wide checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched serrated mainspring housing, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips, "R" and "C-R" marked full blue magazine, and a "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel with a large "G" ahead of the lug. Included with the pistol is a brown leather 1944 Boyt holster.

Excellent, with 97% original parkerized finish, showing bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The grips are very fine, with scuffing and dents concentrated on the right panel. The holster is good, with some scuffing, cracking, and verdigris buildup. Mechanically excellent.
