Desirable Pre-World War II Winchester Model 12 Slide Action 28 Gauge Shotgun

Manufactured in 1937. Single bead sight on the barrel with standard markings, Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, "2 7/8 CHAM" marked chamber, and modified choke. Matching serial numbers on the receiver and takedown collar. Round 14 groove slide handle and smooth pistol grip stock with Checkered Winchester buttplate. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

ConditionFine with 70% plus original blue finish, areas of high point and edge wear, scattered surface scratches, and a mixed gray patina on the collar. The wood is fine as refinished with attractive pattern on the forearm, scattered dings and small dents, and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
