Manufactured circa early 1993. Has a rare factory installed "Colt-Milizaio" National Match trigger assembly fully adjustable for pull weight to meet NM standards. These trigger assemblies were used for a very short time as Colt and Milizaio got into a licensing dispute, forcing Colt to stop using them. Original Colt non-chrome lined, 1-9 twist, heavy weight (HBAR) Match barrel, Colt (circa 1993) internal parts and M16A2 style buttstock, handguards and pistol grip. Rare detachable carrying handle/rear sight graduated 3-6 (300-600 yards), as most at this time still retained the fixed carrying handle. Lacks the bayonet lug which Colt eliminated to meet the forthcoming Assault Rifle ban (sound familiar) however it still retains the Colt factory installed M16A2 style flash hider. Comes with original matching numbered shipping box, plastic storage/shipping bag, two original Colt marked 10 shot magazines, original cleaning kit (still in its wrapper) and black web sling.

Excellent with 99% of the original Colt factory finish with a slight rub mark on the left edge of the delta ring from sitting in the shipping box and very light signs of hand cycling the action. The black plastic components are all in like new condition from the factory. The face of the breech bolt and face of the buffer show no signs of being fired. A very scarce rifle in this condition as almost all saw heavy use in the various National Matches over the last 25 years or were rebarreled or altered. This is a real Colt time-capsule, a true survivor fresh from a 30 year old collection.
