Manufactured in 1918. The barrel is marked "R/flaming bomb/7-18" with blade front and adjustable ladder (elevator absent) and peep rear sights, standard receiver markings with double "eagle head" proofs on top of the left receiver rail, and a single "flaming bomb" proof on the side. With a "R" and "flaming bomb" marked bolt. Smooth pistol grip stock with "R" marking at the nose, finger grooves, "eagle head/339" proof ahead of the floorplate, "eagle head/301 behind the trigger guard, and smooth trapdoor buttplate. With "1918" dated leather sling.

Excellent with 97% plus original blue finish remaining, some areas of light edge and muzzle wear, and mixed patina on the trigger guard. The stock is also excellent with crisp stamps, scattered small dings, and edge wear on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Leather sling is torn through at rear swivel.
