Introduced in 1966. Manufactured without sights, standard maker's marks, and integral scope base on the barrel marked "MAUSER Oberndorf/N - Fraser, Mich/Made in W. Germany". There are no visible German proofs indicating it was manufactured for export directly to the U.S. Attractively figured, skip-line checkered pistol grip stock with rosewood forend and grip caps, raised cheekpiece, sling swivels, and vented Mauser recoil pad. With factory takedown case, tools, and test target for the included second barrel. Second barrel is 24 inches, chambered for .30-06, and fitted with a Picatinny scope rail.
