This is an early Springfield Armory M1A style receiver manufactured BM59, marked with Beretta BM-59 parts. The Beretta BM-59 was developed after WWII as an improvement upgrade of the WWII M1 Garand in 7.62 Nato. The BM-69 is the semi-automatic civilian version that uses a Springfield Armory made receiver with original Italian made parts. It has a flash hider/muzzle brake, standard Garand style sights, a flip up grenade sight, bayonet lug, folding bipod, detachable magazine, folding winter trigger, clip slot and bolt release. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with rubber butt pad. With storage box, hand numbered to the gun, manual, oiler, and tool.
