Manufactured in 1961 with standard markings and features and subsequently masterfully embellished by Clint Finley of Redding, California. Finley is a self-taught master of his craft, who began engraving in the winter of 1970-71. The revolver shows the standard Colt markings with the Rampant Colt on the left of the frame inlaid in gold. The engraving features light floral scroll/vine patterns and small flowers, with many of these patterns inlaid with gold and copper and fitted with smooth pearl grips. Finley signed this piece discreetly on the bottom of the ejector shroud.
