This set is built around a 3rd Generation Colt Blackpowder Arms Paterson Revolver in .36 caliber with two barrels. Only twenty of these sets were produced. The top barrel flat is marked "Patent Arms M'g Co Paterson, N.J - Colt's, Pt" reading from breech to the muzzle. The stagecoach holdup scene is roll engraved on the cylinder, which also is marked "COLT". Fine floral scrollwork covers nearly the entire frame and extends out onto the first three inches of the barrel. There are two silver inlaid bands on the upper flats of the barrel at the breech, a single band on the lower flats on the lug and ahead of the lug, single band around the muzzle and front and rear of the cylinder, and a band on the recoil shields. Includes a hardwood case containing an extra engraved and silver banded barrel and cylinder, ball mold, powder flask, cleaning rod, combination tool, and capper.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus nitre blue finish with minor handling evidence. The case and accessories are also all excellent. Mechanically excellent.
