The top barrel flat is marked "J. HAFNER in WIEN." A floral scroll engraving is featured on the breech plug, barrel tang, hammer, bolster and lock plate. The floral engraving extends to the side plate which also has a military engraved motif at the rear. The spur trigger guard has a border engraving. The half stock has a single barrel wedge with silver oval escutcheons. The silver buttcap has an ornate chiseled engraved pattern. The sides and top of the grip have strips of silver that feature a chiseled floral pattern exhibiting blossoms and leaves. The forend cap also has chiseled floral blossoms. The leather bound case is lined with red velvet and contains the following accessories: mallet, screwdriver, ladle, bullet mold, double face powder flask, oiler, cleaning rod, key, wad container and percussion cap container.

Very good. The barrel has a bright appearance showing some light pitting. The remaining metal surfaces have a mottled bright appearance with traces of original case colors in the protected areas of the trigger guard. The stock is very good with a few cracks radiating from the action. The action is fine. The case is very good with stained leather showing some gouges and faded lining.
