Manufacture date of 1948, per the Winchester Arms Collectors Association. Manufactured as a skeet grade with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Barrel proof offset to the left to accommodate the factory installed matted solid rib. Fitted with a single white bead sight, 3 inch chamber, and "SKEET" marked choke. Mounted with a finely figured checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered buttplate and 13 7/8 inch length of pull.

Very fine, retains 85% plus original blue finish with some light-mild edge wear, a couple patches of very light surface pitting near the front of the receiver, and some scattered light handling marks. The refinished wood is also very fine with a few scattered light handling marks, crisp checkering, and strong varnish. Mechanically excellent.
