Manufactured from 1936-1963. With standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech and the desirable red "WINCHESTER" marking on the bottom of the action. Single bead sight, 2 7/8 inch chamber, and choke marked "FULL". Mounted with a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered Winchester buttplate and 14 inch length of pull.

Fine with 75% faded original blue finish on the barrel, some edge wear, scattered surface scratches, forearm marks. The receiver has a mottled blue/gray patina with some brown spotting, and traces of original red paint in the "WINCHESTER" marking. The wood is also fine with small dings and scratches throughout, and most of the original finish. Mechanically excellent.
