Manufactured in 1943. Blade and flat top notch sights, the "USS" monogram and "U.S. & S. Co./SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." on the left side of the slide, with a Robert Downie "R.C.D." inspected frame, thin checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips, full blue "S" marked magazine and "F" marked Flannery Bolt barrel. Included with the pistol is an extra "S" marked magazine and a Colt Government Model instruction sheet.

Excellent, with 98% plus of the original dulite finish, showing some small patches of brown spotting, bright edge/cycling wear, and mild handling marks. The grips are excellent, with a few dings on the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
