Manufactured in March of 1944. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights with locking bar, with a "WP" marked barrel, Winchester bolt, trigger guard, trigger housing, hammer, safety and angled relief cut operating rod, and the right front receiver leg marked "D28291-2". Smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled "P" on the underside of the wrist, restamped "WRA/GHD" and "crossed cannon" cartouches on the left side, and a checkered steel buttplate.
