Description:

It has the standard sights and government markings, an "1863" dated barrel, "1864" dated lock, and the Type I screw fastened barrel bands (added screw to rear band).

Rating Definition:

Fine with bright polished barrel and hardware, dark brown patina mixed with more than half of the dark original case colors on the lock, some pitting mainly on the trigger guard, and general mild wear. The stock is very fine and has dark oiled finish, moderate scrapes and dents, and distinct cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
