This is the commercial version of the Swiss army rifle. Blade front and four-position rear drum sights with front and rear night beads, integral flash hider, adjustable gas port, standard receiver markings, Swiss "cross and shield" stamp on top of the receiver, matching visible serial numbers, and ambidextrous safety lever. With a ribbed vented handguard, serrated pistol grip with compartment, and folding buttstock with serrated rubber pad. With original foam box, extra magazine, loading tool, sling, and cleaning kit. Observed 551-2 SP carbines show an approximate starting serial number of 60000, placing this very early in the production run. With non-matching plastic case, plain box, three extra magazines, and manual for the SIG SG551 rifle.

Excellent with 95% plus original matte green finish, small scuffs and scratches round the muzzle end of the barrel, small speck of oxidation visible on right side of receiver and light to minor handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent.
