Description:

Confirmed by Colt factory records (per orignal letter), this pistol was a sample of an early production prototype leading to the All American 2000 pistol kept by the Colt factory. The letter also confirms the caliber, 4 1/2 inch barrel without markings, stainless steel slide and aluminum alloy receiver with frost finish, and varnished smooth walnut stocks with large "C" Colt logo medallion inlays. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number. Complete with Colt blue box and white cardboard outer box sleeve handwritten with the model and serial number on a short end. Consecutively numbered to the next lot.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with a few light handling and test marks. The grips are near new with only the slightest handling marks. Box is excellent.
