Colt purchased a number of Model D pistols from Star as part of the short lived Pony project to market a pocket .380 ACP pistol, but canceled the Pony project when the pistols failed to meet Colt's quality standards. Standard markings, with blade front and adjustable notch rear sight. Magazine has a matte finish, with the Colt trademark in an oval on the left side. Includes original box, with correct matching number yellow end label. The bottom of the box is marked "END GUN/Mag Safety/Rear Sight".

Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish some light traces of edge wear, and some small surface scratches. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with some tape repairs, corner and edge wear.
