Manufactured c. 1868-188 with a German silver blade front sight, adjustable sporting rear sight, "E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. N.Y." on top of the barrel at the breech, "32" on the bottom of the barrel ahead of the forearm, matching serial numbers on the bottom of the barrel, rear of the forearm, and lower tang; patent markings on the left side of the frame, and smooth stock and forearm with steel cap and curved buttplate.
