Description:

Manufactured in 1878. Features a blade front sight built into the front barrel band, the two-line address and King's patent marking, notch and folding leaf rear sight, saddle ring on the left side of the frame, the serial number in script at the rear of the lower tang, and an empty stock compartment.

Rating Definition:

Good with light gray patina on the barrel and magazine tube, crisp original barrel address little bit darker mottled gray patina on the hammer and lever, aged patina on the frame and buttplate, some light oxidation and pitting, and general mild wear. The revarnished wood is also good and has mild scratches and dings, some darker splotches and streaks, and some coarser sections on the forend. The bolt remains in rimfire configuration, and it is mechanically fine.
