This ring gun bears a striking resemblance to the "Le Petite Protector" ring guns that were manufactured in France during the 1800s. This one shows many of the characteristics of another ring gun in this auction that we believe to have been manufactured by Francis Lebeda. This example however, like its forerunners from the 1800s uses the pinfire system. The ring itself is of brass construction with the trigger, hammer, cylinder, and mainspring being of blued steel. Includes a jewelry style case, five pinfire caps, and a screwdriver.
