Description:

Manufactured by the Moore's Patent Firearms Company circa 1864 to 1870, this front loading revolver features about 25% coverage Nimschke-style floral scroll engraving on the frame. The top of the barrel is marked with the Moore's one-line address, and the cylinder is marked with the D. William's one-line patent date. The grips and grip frame have matching "DP12" markings. Comes with a period hardwood case featuring a cartridge block holding 12 cartridges.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The cylinder and barrel retain 85% original blue finish with smooth brown patina on the balance. The frame retains 95% original silver plating. The grips are fine with some minor scratches and dings and retaining most of the original finish. The case is fine with minor handling/storage marks and some high spot wear on the lining.
