Manufactured circa 1865-70 by Eagle Arms Co. of New York. The rib is marked "EAGLE ARMS CO., NEW YORK", the cylinder is marked "PATENTED JULY 12. 1859 & JULY 21. 1863," and the butt has the serial number. The grips are numbered to the gun. Includes an Eagle Arms Co. factory picture box containing a cleaning rod.

Very fine, retains 60% plus bright original blue finish with the balance a mottled brown-grey patina, and 90% original attractively age darkened silver plating. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some mild wear and staining.
