Exceptionally fine, retains 90% plus original blue finish with some areas beginning to fade to an attractive plum and the heel of the buttplate worn to a smooth grey patina. The breech block and barrel tang retain 60% original, age darkened, case colors with the balance a brown speckled grey patina. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor dings and dents, and a crisp cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
