Rating Definition:

Very good as partially refinished, the barrels, which retain 98% blue finish with a few scattered minor dings and scratches. The remaining blue metal surfaces retain 97% original blue finish with some edge wear and minor thinning. The locks retain 80% original bright case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The frame and forearm hardware have a smooth gray patina. The wood is very good with a few scattered minor dings, dents and scratches. The checkering remains very crisp. The barrel rib marking is legible and the engraving, and remaining markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The case is fair with heavy wear, tape residue and scratches on the exterior. The handle is absent, and part of one of the leather straps is also absent. The other strap shows very heavy wear. The interior has some lining worn through and some compartment walls broken.
