Ramped, hooded blade front and three leaf (one standing, two folding) rear notch sights marked for 100, 200, and 300 yards respectively with platinum inlaid sight lines, caliber and load markings on the barrels and Birmingham proofs from the 1904 to 1925 period. The receiver, trigger plate, and trigger guard feature light scroll engraving with "I. HOLLIS & SONS" markings on the receiver sides. With bushed firing pins, third fastener, dual triggers, and manual sliding tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm with Anson latch, matching numbered forearm iron, and pistol grip stock with horn forend tip, lightly engraved steel grip cap and fittings, raised cheekpiece, blank initial oval, and solid rubber recoil pad. With unmarked canvas and leather takedown case. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 3/4 inches.

Fine as professionally refurbished with softened matting on the quarter rib, and some small traces of light pitting under the blue. The receiver is a mostly bright silver patina with evidence of cleaning, some darker spotting, reblued bottom plate and trigger guard, and well defined engraving. The forend and trigger guard are slightly loose. The wood is also fine with freshened checkering and rubbed oil finish, small scattered dings, and some small gaps at some of the junctions. Mechanically excellent.
