Manufactured in 1943. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, with the "MATCH/bullseye/TARGET" logo on the left side of the barrel, "THE WOODSMAN/U.S. PROPERTY" on the left side of the frame, and "G.H.D." (Guy Drewry) on the right, with the two-line caliber and Rampant Colt markings on the slide. "e/VP" and "49" are stamped on the trigger guard, and a two-line patent marking on top of the barrel. The trigger and back strap are serrated, the latter in a small rectangular panel, with a set of extended Rampant Colt grips and a full blue magazine marked "COLT WOODSMAN/CAL. 22 L.R." on the base. Includes a reproduction plain craft box hand numbered to the gun.
