Manufactured in 1943. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, with the "MATCH/bullseye/TARGET" logo on the left side of the barrel, "THE WOODSMAN/U.S. PROPERTY" on the left side of the frame, and "G.H.D." (Guy Drewry) on the right, with the two-line caliber and Rampant Colt markings on the slide. "e/VP" and "49" are stamped on the trigger guard, and a two-line patent marking on top of the barrel. The trigger and back strap are serrated, the latter in a small rectangular panel, with a set of extended Rampant Colt grips and a full blue magazine marked "COLT WOODSMAN/CAL. 22 L.R." on the base. Includes a reproduction plain craft box hand numbered to the gun.

Excellent overall with 98% plus original blue finish, faint traces of edge wear at the muzzle, light handling marks, and sharp checkering on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with some corner and edge wear.
