Westley Richards Mauser Action Takedown Bolt Action Rifle in .318 Accelerated Express

Elevated beaded blade front and five leaf (one standing, four folding) rear notch sights, barrel marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co. LONDON" ahead of the rear sight and "W.R. DETACHABLE BARREL" on the right side along the rear sight base, left side of receiver marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS/318 ACCELERATED /EXPRESS", hinged floorplate, and checkered horn bolt handle knob. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with horn forend cap, checkered takedown locking lever, blue steel grip cap, and solid rubber recoil pad with spacers.

ConditionFine. 95% refinished blue remains with areas of surface spotting, slightly light barrel and receiver markings, traces of light pitting under the blue, and evidence of a scope base having been removed from the receiver and the holes repaired. The stock is also fine with two small pins visible at the wrist, crisp checkering, and numerous small dings and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
