Normally subject to the restrictions of the National Firearms Act and classified as an "Any Other Weapon". This pistol, however, includes an August 13, 2013 letter from the ATF Firearms Technology Branch, identifying the pistol by serial number as being primarily a collector's item and not likely to be used as a weapon and is removed from the provisions of the NFA. The pistol is also listed by serial number on page 91 of the 2018 revision of the ATF C&R list as being no longer subject to NFA restrictions. Single brass bead sight on the matte, concave rib, 2 9/16 inch chambers with single extractor, and standard markings. Casehardened New Ithaca Double receiver with standard dog scene roll engraving with the "AUTO & BURGLAR GUN" nomenclature, dual triggers, and sliding tang safety. Checkered walnut saw-handle grip and forearm. With original Ithaca Gun Co. leather holster marked "Auto and Burglar Gun/MADE BY/ITHACA GUN COMPANY/ITHACA, N.Y."

Excellent with 95% plus original blue finish on the barrels, areas of mild edge wear, small surface scratches, and some mild brown patina. The receiver has 97% original vibrant case colors with some silvering on the edges and tops of the fences, and mild handling marks. The grip is very fine with a visible 1 inch hairline crack on the left side, small dings, and mostly crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Holster is good with cracking throughout, mostly supple leather, repaired tip, scuffs, and clearly legible markings. A rare opportunity to purchase a NFA exempt Ithaca Auto & Burglar gun with a very scarce original Ithaca holster.
