Manufactured in 1939. Fixed sights, with the two-line address and patent markings on the matching numbered slide, "W/VP" and "55" on the trigger guard, and "U.S. PROPERTY" and ordnance wheel mark roll stamped on the right side of the frame. Fitted with a set of Colt medallion grips and a full blue magazine.

Fine as reparkerized, showing 97% of the dark parkerized finish on the slide and frame, with some bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The thumb and grip safeties are blued, with mild pitting beneath the finish on the latter. The grips are very fine, with mild dings and verdigris buildup. The thumb safety is stiff, otherwise mechanically fine. It is uncertain as to whether these unique autos are authentic, but this example has the look!
