Manufactured in 1908 with standard markings including a Winchester factory oval proof on the receiver at the breech. Fitted with pinned brass blade front and folding ladder rear sights. Mounted with a grooved forearm with upper handguard and straight grip stock stamped "7/HG.936" on the comb with a trapdoor carbine buttplate (cleaning tools not included).

Very good, retains 30% of the thinned original blue finish with the balance a mottled brown and grey patina. The wood is also good with extensive dents and dings scattered throughout, a gouge visible on the right lower buttstock, and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
