Manufactured by the Pieper firm of Herstal-Liege, Belgium primarily for sale to Denmark for military issue. Fixed blade and notch sights, "BREVETE./S.G.D.G." on the left front of the barrel extension, and the three-line Pieper address at the left rear. The serial number is marked on the underside front of the frame, and the Danish property number "3608" is marked at the rear right of the slide with a Danish "crown/D" stamp at the left rear of the slide. With checkered hard rubber grips. With an original Danish military pattern holster with steel toe cap and bore rod, marked "crown/HR/27" on the front.

Fine with 70% faded original blue finish areas of high point and edge wear, scratches and nicks, patches of light surface pitting, and handling marks overall. The grips are good with scratches and dings throughout, heavily worn checkering, and replacement grip screw (too long). Mechanically excellent. Holster is good with scuffs and scratches on the exterior, tight stitching, some surface cracking, generally solid construction, and pitting and spotting on the toe cap.
