Description:

This is a very nice restored example of a DWM Model 1902 Luger Carbine. These carbines were the first attempts by DWM to compete on the European market with a light weight rifle substitute. They proved to be very successful being used by many European dignitaries and kings. Included on this model are 300 meter adjustable rear sight, grip safety, and checkered walnut forearm with sling swivel, grips and stock with a black plastic serrated buttplate. The stock is unnumbered. The sling swivel is missing off of the stock. The only external markings on the gun are the serial number on the frame extension, "10" on the takedown lever and rear toggle and the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle. Magazine is unmarked, tin-plated, with wooden base.

Rating Definition:

Fine as professionally restored with nearly all of the blue, refinished, recheckered wood with only a few minor scuffs on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. A very nice looking 1902 Carbine.
