Blue "Winchester Proof" steel barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, improved cylinder/modified chokes, single white bead sight, "GOLDEN QUAIL" marking on top of the rib, and light scroll engraving at the breech. Standard Golden Quail edition engraving on the receiver with a dog a quail scene on the left, two quail in flight on the right, and a gold inlaid quail head on the underside. The underside is marked "ONE OF 500". Checkered beavertail forearm and straight grip stock with engraved fittings, and solid Winchester recoil pad. With factory box renumbered to match gun and cloth and leather bound takedown case with Golden Quail interior label. Serialized to match three other Winchester Golden Quail shotguns in this auction. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent overall with 99% plus original finish, scattered light handling marks, attractive grain, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with some corner and edge wear. Case is excellent.
